Kat Hampton Licensed Massage Therapist & Chiropractic Assistant
A PNW native, Kat grew up in Corvallis, OR and spent her childhood dancing ballet and riding horses. In 2015 she hiked the PCT solo, and followed that with two other long-distance treks. She started racing bicycles in 2018 and is active in the Portland cycling community.
Kat graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in September of 2023. Her massage technique involves a combination of Trigger point therapy and myofascial release with a structural integration perspective. She likes to approach massage as a conversation, both verbal and non-verbal. Clients will experience a good balance of zoning out and active participation. She particularly enjoys working with athletes in their 60s, 70s, and 80s; female athletes; and cyclists. She has a myofascial release approach to deep tissue massage, using moderate pressure, and preferring to facilitate change with effective deep tissue techniques.
