Rae has always been curious about self-use and learning through the body as it is our best teacher and healer. As a dancer through life, movement has always been essential for her health and vitality. Rae is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner™ focusing on retraining outdated neural pathways around movement supporting clients for an easier way to be in their bodies without pain. She attended massage school at East West College and continues to explore continuing education to best support herself and clients. Rae studied Craniosacral therapy with the Carol Gray Center for CST Studies with a focus on Pregnancy, Birth, Postpartum and Infants. She also trained with Tami Lynn Kent in Holistic Pelvic Care™ and Holistic Pelvic Energy™
As a mom to four children and knowing the rigors that puts on your body and life balance, Rae’s focus is to support those who choose a healing path knowing the body is the way in. She spent years putting her body back together not by pushing it, but by listening in, slowing down and finding the ease. It is not easy in a world that speaks the opposite language. Her hope is to support her clients in the same way as it is not about working harder, but smarter with more organization within everyday movements.
Rae is dedicated to supporting those who are pregnant to have easier childbirth and setting the body up for success for an easy birthing transition. In a world where we drive and sit more than we should for logistic reasons this can sets baby up to be an awkward position for labor and delivery. Her focus is to make more space for baby to move around by setting the unit up for success. She has take-home techniques to support daily movements for easier labor and delivery. For those in their fourth trimester and beyond, she is well trained in ways to support the healing journey back.
Rae studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Craniosacral at East West College. She also incorporates Feldenkrais, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, Muscle Testing, and Sound Healing into her sessions listening to what the client is asking for and delivering results. Clients often say they feel like they are floating, moving easier in their bodies and feel a sense of being more grounded and taller. Treatments are individual and are client-based driven to meet the needs of the individual.
